Consistent effort in Korn Ferry First Stage Qualifying

20 October 2024 Bård and his caddie in Texas ready for the first stage of the Korn Ferry q-school

Hello dear golf friends! This month, Bård Skogen took on the first stage in the Korn Ferry Tour qualifying rounds in Texas. We’re are very grateful for all the support and cheers from you so far on Bård’s journey.

After the first round, Bård played a solid -1. With three rounds remaining, he was off to a promising start.

The second round, however, proved more challenging, with Bård finishing at +7 for the day. Despite this, he persevered and rebounded well in the third round, completing at -2. This still left him in contention on day four.

In his final round, Bård shot +1, finishing the tournament with a cumulative score of +5, which placed him a bit behind the qualifying cut at -2. While he didn’t advance this time, the experience and insight gained are invaluable steps forward in his career.

Bård returned to Norway for a brief visit before heading to Spain with Peder in November for the next stage of the DP world tour.

In the photo, Bård is seen with his caddie at Sugar Tree, his main training course near Ft. Worth. A huge thanks to his caddie for the dedication and commitment over these four intense days.

Stay tuned for more updates as Bård continues his journey – and thank you again for all the incredible support!
